start of june break (:

have been quite some time since i last updated cus nothing much have happened. it's the june holiday now anyway. finally have time to laze around but still, there are quite a few things tt are going to take place during this break for eg. gotta study for prelim, gathering(s) n going to watch some jwc games at sengkang. btw i just copied this very emotional pic from lfc facebook. it affected me quite badly :(

it felt like shit to be runners-up though we won the champions twice this season. sometimes, consistency matters more than anything. well, at least we look like we're building our foundation. what more can i say? definitely, a serious title contender next season (:

reflection on adiv'09?

the loss over acsi marked the end of our tournament. urmm however, we have achieved nat'l top 6 which is never a thing in the history of ijc hockey. i thought it was quite a pity. our skills were on par with some of the "supposedly seeded" colleges but we were eliminated due to our lack of experience. we made too many mistakes throughout the whole pitch. forwards didnt capitalise, defenders misjudged. who in the team would want all these to happen? no fingers should be pointed cus we were all too inexperienced. in fact, we should give ourselves a round of applause and a pat on the back cus that was the best we could do though we got thrashed etc. it was not an easy task at all to go so far. to pit ourselves with players and teams who have been in this sport longer than us. im sure everyone gave their everything and to come to think of it, i think we guys did a fantastic job (not to action or what). most of us picked up the sport only in march last year. we didnt even have a proper coach and proper training ground. the number of pitch training was pathetic and inconsistent (i think teachers n coach have done their best) but i thought the school could have done more. it was an uphill task to play in adiv, let alone to qualify to the quarters. i could still remember clearly tt when we first know of the adiv draw, we were all demoralised. our grouping kinda suck big time cus with mi rj acjc around, we wont stand a chance. we were doubting ourselves, some players didnt turn up for training, conflicts n all but we managed to stay as a team in march camp n eventually went all the way out to win mi and draw ac. it was definitely a good experience.
though season has ended, memories will stay.

whatever i did wasnt enough or probably i did nothing. failed to up my game. knew my mistakes and hope i can correct it in time. hopefully we can come out with something special against acsi

urgh what a time to fall sick and get myself injured after knowing tt we've qualified into the 2nd round. furthermore, it's a long weekend, so not worth it to fall sick now cus it means that ive to stay home during this few days:(
anyway our next game will be on the 8th agst acsi at 1630h, delta sports complex
